Will putting blue hair dye on my red/brownish (dyed) hair make it purple?
I really want purple hair, I tried to do it before with a normal purple box dye and it only took at the roots because my hair was black. I then bleached it and put a pinky purple colour on it which came out as kind of red. Should I put blue dye over it? What will it look like?

No, since there's brown in your hair it might make your hair a mucky brown mess. Or it won't stick to your hair. If you want to do fashion colors, you're going to have to bleach / lighten your hair to at least a light blond.
If you want to try it do a strand test first and see how it turns out.
