Assuming you have the privileges needed...

Log in to the group's website

go management

go manage members

tick the box next to the member you want to promote

click "change role" or "promote"

select moderator privileges

click "submit"

exact wording may vary a bit from what I said

Create a session login, with a session levels, 1 and 2. Set normal users to 1, set moderators to 2. This isn't what you meant is it? Lmao
