Why do I keep doing this?
I keep visiting Tesco store because I want to see this guy who works in the store. He works in the Fruit and Veg section. He is roughly in his 30s and I am 27. We don't know each other and don't have any contact. Now I have applied for a job there in order to get to know him and becomes friends with him if I get employed there. I am not sure why I am fixed into him. Why am I behaving in this way?

Because you like him and you want to see him a lot. And you're hoping that by working with him you guys will start eventually dating.
