If you trust polling that the monarchy is popular, do you trust similar polling that shows Charles & Camilla ranking low in public approval?

Any polls that suggest that the monarchy is popular, has clearly been funded by the monarchy. Charles and Camilla must be the most unpopular royals ever, and there's a lot of competition.

I don't know about poles but I for one do NOT like Cheating Charles or Horse Face Camilla one bit. I think they are BOTH a disgrace.

For a start, each might have a different rating on their own.

Charles is well prepared for King.

Camilla might not be liked as Queen but she is well received by those who meet her.

Many people rate a monarchy highly based on security and stability of the system rather than just based on personalities.

The public could rate Charles and Camilla low as a couple but high in terms of wanting the monarchy to continue on and accepting that Charles is set to be the next King.

To trust any polling, one has to know the exact wording of the questions and that each person was asked the exact, same questions. One also has to know who is doing the polling and why. Many of the polls that show Charles as unpopular have exactly that result in mind when taking opinions. Since many polls are done with a wanted result planned, many polls can not be trusted--pro or anti monarchy/Charles.

Yes. Nobody could be expected to receive the same approval rating as the present Queen.

The important finding is that the institution of the monarchy is well-liked, and is bigger than any of the individuals in it. The approval rating for Charles (who has yet to become monarch) is no worse than there was for Edward VII when he was the Prince of Wales.

People rarely trust polls if they don't confirm their prejudices.

I don't take much notice of Polls, period. You can too easily make they say what you want them to say.

Don't trust polling, agree that Charles and Camilla are unpopular, simply because ive never met a single person that has a good thing to say about them, so it must be true. Cannot understand the viewpoint of Lili, if you don't like the question, why bother answering.

Everyone knows they aren't high in popularity because of the affair. It's hardly some strange or disturbing piece of information that anyone needs to reject. However, it's also ultimately meaningless. Charles's reign will not be long, people are already looking ahead to William's, and the succession isn't and never has been a popularity contest anyway -- as has correctly and repeatedly been pointed out here.

I believe this is another question that's been asked and answered before. Try to come up with something original and interesting. The obsession with Charles and Camilla is quite boring and really should have run its course by now.
