Why do conservatives insist on telling liberals what we like? This retired critical care nurse has actually assisted at a thousand terminations over thirty years, and only four of them were late term. In each of these cases the foetus was already dead and the mother about to join it.

That happens, you know. The foetus can strangle in the umbilical cord, or have one of a hundred defects that reduces it to a lump of dead tissue. Why do conservatives insist the mother die, too?

Besides, having assisted at a thousand deliveries as early as six months I can also assure you that any foetus removed from a mother that is viable is incubated and treated as what it is, a live birth. There are NO late term abortions of viable foetuses because we have the science to keep them alive.
