I have blood when I wipe?

I started prep for my colonoscopy and every time I drink mag citrate I bleed does this mean cancer it take the laxatives about 12 hours to even kick in and I dont go that much from it help?

    No, my friend, it does NOT mean you have cancer.

    The MOST LIKELY CAUSE is that you have haemorhoids [hemorroids, if you are one of my American cousins] OR an anal fissure ... a slight tear in the wall of the rectum.

    After the colonoscopy they should be able to tell you if there's anything that even remotely appears cancerous.

    No it doesnt mean cancer

    My husband just went for a colonscopy because he had pass blood

    and everything was OK
