No it has not been decided whos fault it was, the police are investigating the accident.

There's no way he could stay awake for the whole course, so its pointless.

After this accident, what I hope is that he now volunteers to give up driving altogether rather than having his licence taken away from him.
He pulled out, from a side road, into the path of an oncoming car.
He's lucky to be alive .. and not to have killed anyone else.
At 97 is is too old to drive on a public road anymore .. it's not like he can't afford a chauffeur is it !

I expect he will give up driving on public roads.
The incident shows the wisdom of wearing a seatbelt.

I hope he'll agree to surrender his licence. There's no way that anyone of his age and health should be driving. I'm very pro-royal, but this is ridiculous.

Yes, I think so, his evaluator will be told NOT to sing the Manfred Man song "Blinded by the Light, dressed up like a Duke, another runner in the night" or even hum it.

I doubt it. We, the taxpayer, will provide a chauffeur as required.

No, they've reduced the speed limit so you're less likely to run into 95 year olds reversing out of a driveway.
