How hard would it be for Yahoo Answers to change their system to automatically eliminate one word answers that are not actual words?

Not as easy as you might think. Consider every single word known, even just in English (including acronyms). Besides that, it wouldn't be difficult for the bot programmer to then have the bots post 2 words or an entire sentence (of actual words or gibberish). Fixing the current problem goes MUCH further than eliminating a random English alphabet character string.
