There s tons of food delivery services in my city. They charge a delivery fee. Is tipping to the driver needed? Some fees are 4 to 5.00?

Tipping is optional in all places in Canada. The fee is to pay the driver. So if you wish to give extra as a tip then that is up to you.

I think that in some cases the driver doesn't get the fee, they just get paid an hourly rate. But I believe with Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes, the drive does get the full fee.

But tips are nice and appreciated.

As for the clowns that say it's a bad job, or hard job, it's not. It's extremely, extremely easy and fun.

Delivery fees are not tips. They go to the company, not the driver.

low paying job, I would tip.

I still tip the driver. It's a crappy job and very low paid. Even if the driver gets the whole delivery fee (which I doubt), it's still going to be pretty hard to make a living a $4-5 per delivery trip.
