isn t there something on Amazon where i can watch an episode of a season early? like before it airs on television?

No. Very rarely a show might do a promotion where you can watch the first episode of a series on Amazon before it airs. I've only seen that I believe twice, once with Outlander and then also with the new Star Trek series.

Not usually
On rare occasion Amazon has accidently leaked episodes before they air. But 99% of time you have to wait until it airs
If they released everything before it aired then nobody would watch it when it aired,ratings would drop and Amazon would probally lose their contract with the network
