Canada is one of the wealthiest country in the world.

yet here in one of the richest cities in Canada, construction workers can't afford the houses that they build anymore.

anyone else find that hilarious?

Have you checked the housing prices in Vancouver.  It is insane. Construction workers could never afford the houses they build.

If your statement were true it truly would be tragic but why you find it "'hilarious" would cause me more concern !!  For years I have heard the comment that I'm lucky to own a home but then I work hard , save my money, buy within my means, don't go to mexico etc. every year nor do I have a $65,000.00 dollar leased pickup or Infiniti/ I had a 10 year old Honda Civic. I don't own or lease a $80,000.00 ski boat but then maybe, just maybe you might think I have my priorities wrong. Did I also say that I pack my own lunch and thermos of coffee or should I buy my starbucks and lunch everyday.
