Why is it we hear so much about illegals and almost nothing about the homeless?

The news is constantly talking about Opening Our borders and the plight of the illegal aliens but I never hear anything about our massive homeless population. I live in Redding California and the homeless population is incredible unbelievable and they're doing absolutely nothing to help them. In fact the authorities seem to go out of their way to make things harder for them.

Maybe that's the deal up in Shasta County but here in L.A. County authorities have done everything possible to make it easier to be homeless. Not to mention the County measure HH and the city's measure H both of which extract more tax dollars out of us (supposedly) to build supportive housing. If you're not seeing this in Redding then your Mayor must not be running for President. Our Mayor wants a national profile and sees that the 66K homeless people roaming the streets of L.A. might become a campaign issue. But I get your point, this state pours billions into illegals but approaches the homeless in patchy, baby step ways.

The Illegals are getting the money and the aid the homeless are not. Ever give that a thought.

This is exactly why Trump was elected; to pay attention to our OWN needs, first.

It's a beautiful thing. Whether it will come to fruition is anyone's guess. I hope it will.

If not in Trump's admin, then perhaps under Nikki Haley.

Illegals can easily be turned into Democratic voters. Many homeless are too out of it (drug and alcohol problems, mental health problems) to vote. Illegals are also willing to work.

    The homeless are all illegals.

We live in a culture where some types of people are more important than others. I know, it's wrong but that is what PC culture has become.

If we help the homeless in America like other countries do with their citizens, it would be viewed as socialist by the current government.

Because liberals and democrats don't care about the homeless. They only care about the illegals that they can get more votes from during the election.
