Is it possible to add a topic to a Question you're writing before submitting it?

Or does you just have to go in and edit the automated topic if it's not accurate?

You pick immediately after posting. It would take a few seconds to pick a category before submitting. It also takes just a few seconds to pick after you submit. The difference is that by having it after, you can change it more than once and you can change it if you goofed. The ability to change after was a user requested feature. In the old days, when you picked before, you were stuck if you made a mistake and MANY MANY people did. The only option then was to delete the question and do it again.

Before you hit Submit, you can add or change anything you like. After you hit Submit, all you can do to is add updates to add info or bring attention to corrections.

Yahoo selects the category for you based on keywords in your post. You can change the category after you submit your question, if the server computers don't place it where it belongs.
