What do you think about James Tomkins as a footballer? Do you think he is just an average footballer?
He does have a few England international caps at senior level in 2011 and that's about it. He played for West Ham for a number of years and I have heard he was left out of the team several times for a few seasons. He now play for Crystal Palace which is just above the relegation zone. What do you think about him as he never played for England expect for one or two games/ Just typically average? Why did h e move to Crystal Palace?

By English Premier league standards, the lad is indeed an average defender. Why is he at Palace? Because he is an average Premier League standard defender and Palace are an average EPL team. Tomkins is nothing special at all.
