Streaming media players for tv?

My Sony streaming media player (smp-N100) had a youtube app when I got it, but that disappeared after a couple of years. Is there a streaming media player that does have youtube?

There are a lot of streaming devices out there. The top three most popular would be Amazon Fire, Roku and Nivida Shield.

All three of these will have YouTube, depending on which model you get they also support 4K streaming, and work really fast.

I think the cheapest would either be one of the entry levels of Amazon or Roku. I know with some of the more high price Amazon Fire models you can make payments on. So you can get a better one without breaking the bank.

You can determine this by looking at the packaging and stickers that pepper such devices. Also these things are mentioned in product reviews. As You-Tube is a pedestrian internet site, streaming such content from your Lappie or Desktop is another option, if you are otherwise satisfied with your device. Some add-ons like yours allow the owner to add URL's to their internal list. Shop. The link to YouTube was likely removed from your device during a software update. You can complain to the MFG. or query them about it.
