Did you notice anything about the NFL players during the anthem this week?

I noticed that they wall had their arms locked, whether standing or kneeling. They were there in unison despite their different opinions and beliefs, and that truly represented America right there. They all stood against Trump's divisive rhetoric.

Update:

they all*

Perhaps there should be shown on tv teenagers texting during the national anthem, or little kids running around or dancing or playing during the national anthem, or stadium workers still sweeping or cleaning toilets during the anthem, to show that that the players are not saints and that the people in the crowd are not saints above reproach, either. The players are not people to be worshipped on a pedestal, as the media is making them out to be. Their actions are their own, but for them to be used as media pawns in this way means the tv cameras and the news that show such behaviors are well aware of how much they can manipulate the attitudes and opinions of the people. Now here is the better question------ now that they have started this, when exactly is the moment they stop doing this? it is one thing to start, but having an appropriate way to stop is something different. Beware of the media starting a war instead of the truth. Beware of being controlled by the media in your own world.

correct they are indeed showing that they want us to come together and acknowledge the issues they bring up. cons feel there is no problem, don't look here. unfortunately half the country doesn't want to hear it and will pull fingers in their ears

No they weren't. They were disrespecting America, the Armed Forces, and Americans.

Look if you want to PRETEND that disrespecting the National Anthem is NOT divisive, but calling out that bad behavior IS divisive, then you are too stupid to have reasoned conversations.

Like I said, if you are going to protest, protest on your own time. If you, me, and all other working Americans were to protest on the job, we'd be fired.

    No, I didn't.

I haven't watched the NFL in so long I don't even know who the Jets' quarterback is.
