2011 Japan earthquake & psuami killed 200,0000 people?

it also caused a triple core meltdown in fukishima and to this day has been leaking radioactive material into the land , air , and pacific ocean daily since March 11 2011 why is there no media coverage on this extintion level event?

    More like 20,000. Even the devastating 2004 Sumatra earthquake and tsunami (there's no 'p' in 'tsunami') killed no more than 250,000. Meanwhile, the population of humans on planet Earth increases by around 100 million a year. How do you imagine those disasters are anything close to extinction-level events?
