Why does Amy Schumer keep blaming the "alt-right" for her backlash? Why can't she just admit that she's not funny?

Amy Schumer keeps blaming the "alt-right" for her backlash, because nobody will be able to defend themselves. The "alt-right" is a paranoid delusion popular with those on the left. The alt-right has no headquarters. The alt-right has no leader. The alt-right has made no position publications. The alt-right has no mailing list. In short, the alt-right is a straw man. The narrative on the left will be as follows: If nobody from the alt-right is available to call her a liar, she must be telling the truth.

As to her humor, the humor of hatred and envy never made me smile.

She's on a roll and very popular at the moment. Being a New Yorker, she's leftist and naturally will blame people of the opposite political views.

Failure necessitates a scapegoat.

I had never heard her routine before, so I tuned in the Netflix special. It started weakly so I turned it off after a couple of minutes. I didn't give it a poor rating because I didn't watch it all, but my opinion was not good. It just wasn't very funny.

Ego issues. It's easier to blame someone else rather than yourself. It doesn't help that the alt-right have become a standard scapegoat for the left, and that Amy is a leftist icon in her own right. In her own mind, she's just a natural target, and there can be no other explanation.

I'm not alt-right, and I think her most recent special was sh*t. I only watched it out of curiosity, but I have to agree with all the negative ratings it's been getting by even self-identified fans of hers.

Of course that fat, ugly monkey is not funny! She's a woman. Women are not funny! But conservatards are not funny either! None of them have a sense of humor. All they know how to do is be mean and hateful and have a constant frown on their ugly faces like their president Trump!

The Mrs. insisted we go see her live. She sure does like to talk about her vagina a lot.

Because leading up to the election she was nasty, but instead of calling her out on it. The left put her up on a pedestal and then hid behind, she's a comedian. In thier minds as long as someone else is going after a child like that, it's Ok.

She keeps rehashing the same jokes over and over again but presenting them a little but different and she wonders why people are getting sick of her act. But to her it is Conservative's fault *rolls eyes*

Really, even before the election she only had two dimensions to her act, 1) I'm fat, and 2) I'm slutty. That gets old fast.
