Does Uhaul do background checks on license here renting?

We are renting a Uhaul because we are moving states,when you rent one do they do a background check on your license to make sure you don't have warrants or if your license is suspended?

    All vehicle rental places -- with a possible exception of the smallest mom and pop operations -- do a DMV check. If your license is suspended or if you have excessive tickets or accidents on your record, you will not be renting from them.

    They check everything about you. Credit, license, background,criminal record.etc.
