Want to download copy of facebook data.?

Went to account settings>general> and when I choose download data it says "archive now" like I don't have a copy of my data. Does this mean Facebook didn't have a copy of my data for me, but that I would only be able to download a copy of my data if I have knowingly came here and made an archive myself? I accidentally deleted some pictures I want back. Making an archive now and then downloading data wouldn't help me. lol

    If you delete data it is gone. They are not going to keep copies for you.
