Do religious people have a right to perform religious rituals on their children?

I am talking about rituals that could potentially harm this child. I heard about Gua Sha and I was confused if it would be child abuse to do that on a child in America. Is it part of religious freedom?

Update:

Just clarifying that I am not asking for an opinion. I want to know if it is legal.

    None do.

Most modern "rituals" are cultural - not religious.

Anything that harms a person isn't protected under the first amendment, that includes religion

No. If you see one, record it and show the video to the police (assuming it's actual abuse AND making sure the police doesn't belong to the same religion).
