do aquarium fish know where the glass is so they dont swim into the glass?

Hi Tomasz! I am perfectly sure that they do know where the glass is! After all, they do have eyes and these have evolved to work perfectly under water. None of my fishes has ever gone into the glass or into any of the decorations that I have in the tank. Fishes are smarter than you think!

from my experience no they dont. they will swim slowly head first into the glass sometimes.
