cleaning fresh from the bag pebbles for aquarium?

i am cleaning aquarium green pebbles but the water is bluish. how many times do i have to clean/rinse them?

    The rocks were probably dyed to make them pretty. Try soaking them for a couple of days instead of rinsing them.

    Rinse till there's no color or buy gravel that doesn't have color that comes off
