Yahoo Answers is shutting down on 4 May 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
How do you report a user who is using multiple accounts to accumulate best answers?
In the optical section there are dozens of questions right now about eye patches. In the past, there has been one a month at the most. Many of the questions are asked by the same person who also answers a lot of the other questions. It is pretty much impossible that all of the questions are legitimate. For some reason, I find it very annoying and want to make it stop.

Hover over their question/answer and when the small flag icon appears, take it from there.

You can e-mail a report to
y_answrs_team@yahoo.com
but really, does it truly matter? So someone is point gaming on here. So what? Look at the leaderboard in most categories. Most of those people with their 300 thousand or more points and 50% or better Best Answer rating, were point gaming back in the day when voting was allowed. Are you going after them too?
It's not like they're cheating on the New York State Bar Exam. It's only Yahoo Answers. Just let it go...

If you have proof this is going on, gather the links to the user's multiple accounts and email the information to the Answers Team at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com with the subject "Reporting a user with multiple accounts." Be sure you give the staffers the brief information so they'll investigate the matter and will take appropriate action if your report is credible.

If you somehow can see that a user has multiple accounts and is using them to cheat the system, gather your links and proof and email the Yahoo
Answers Team.
