I have the website open on another tab just waiting for me to read it and register. I made up a series of posters for the local primary school years ago identifying all the birds found at the school and environs. Those birds are Rainbow Lorikeet, Blackbird, White Plumed Honeyeater, Australian Raven, Crested Pigeon, Willie Wagtail, Feral Pigeon, Seagull, Magpie-lark, Spotted Turtle Dove, Red Wattle Bird, Galah, Magpie, Sparrow, Musk Lorikeet, Masked Lapwing, Common Mynah, Fantail Dove. Since then Kookaburras, Little Falcons, Corellas and Red-rumped Parrots have also moved in. Occasional cockatoos and a koel. And also a Bush stone-curlew out of its range.

So sad, all the little birds (blue wrens & silvereyes) have gone from the garden since currawongs learned to overwinter here. Now it's just magpies peewees a pair of ravens and currawongs.

The App is downloaded ready to go. Just looking out of the window now I can see 10 or so different species, so it will be interesting to see what's around during the 20 minute counting periods.

I usually do. My tally for the number of species seen in my backyard stands at 90 but there are a few I have heard but have not yet seen.

I followed your link and registered so I'll be taking part. Over time, we've seen 40+ species here so it will be interesting to see how many turn up during the counting periods.

Chestnut teals, black swans.

Thank you for the info, both Mr Minty and I have registered now.
Mr Minty has submitted his list for today and I'll do today's list later this afternoon.
We'll try to remember to do it daily until the end of the survey.
