How the heck does a house mouse vanish out of thin air without any explanation?
Okay so here's the deal: Woke up to do my usual business and this god damn pest of a house mouse jumped over my foot from behind the toilet, so I slammed the door shut. Tried but missed scooping it into the tub, missed trying to stomp on it too.
It then ran under the white wheeling plastic shelve, which i promptly slammed backwards and forwards... I then checked the drawers contents: NOTHING!! No mouse found. Then i put everything into the tub and checked everywhere it could easily hide: NOTHING STILL!!
Then i assumed it vanished through a rip in space and time, or dimension(s), never to be seen again... Because HOW can you explain what happened if it seemed to VANISH OUT OF THIN AIR?! Seriously...

Sorry people who judge, but you've got to stop assuming before you even know a person.
1. I'm not "high" or on any substance(es).
2. My eye movements are strange to some, yes, but I was half a sleep.
3. No, there are no cracks, crevices, holes, spaces or anything the rodent could easily have escaped through, as I sealed the whole place up from those things. The bottom of the door is less than 3 mm (millimeters) from the floor, impossible for a mouse to run or squeeze under.
4. I don't know WHY yahoo placed the question in "Pregnancy & Parenting".

Is this for real? Either you are a really good actor or high. The eye movement and blink rate are spot on. If it really was a field mouse, also known as a meadow vole, you should know they can easily squeeze through pretty small places. We ran into one while hanging out in a camper. He made himself a nice little home in there that was hard to find. He also tried to steal my Wheat Thins. We thought he was cute and gave him a name. He'd run out quietly and my friend would say, "He's behind me isn't he?" To which I said, "Yep he's sitting right there sniffing your hair." The little critter disappeared in a second and magically showed up under my chair that was 10 feet away. They can move, that's for sure.

Mice always have an exit strategy and can fit through very small spaces. You will never prevail over a mouse.
