but if i save on harddrive when i delete the files they are still there, so i read thats why i thought saving temp files on flash drive then deleting them even if it destroys the life of the flash drive is better, i would rather use a flash drive and replace them when i need to i want to keep my harddrive as clean as possible ps i get flash drives for free so its not a money issue just i want to keep my harddrive clean of temp files like tv shows i d/l watch then delete, thx for ur answer

There is no reason to download things to a flash drive instead. If you have space on your hard drive then use it. It's better using a mechanical hard drive for temporary files than a flash drive since the mechanical hard drive doesn't have a limited life based on the number of writes done to it.

if you wanna basically download it twice. it caches it to your local harddrive anyways before it transfers it to your flash drive.
