Police in Aamerica?
Don’t you think that when police officers are now looking like the soldiers in Iraq.
With every conceivable weapon at their deposal. Armored trucks. Etc. That the gulf between police and communities has been reinforced by the use of military gear, such as night-vision goggles, helmets and armored vehicles intended for counterterrorism
That America is becoming a war zone. Between over zealous and army typ police. And the ordeary people and are all being treated as would be criminals.

It hasn't gotten to that point yet. They only use their riot gear when it's necessary. Most communities can't afford that high tech stuff anyway and many police forces have to buy their own bullet proof vests ($500).

The advances in police equipment are a direct response to the advances in the equipment criminals use. Try searching "North Hollywood Bank Robbery".

I want the police to be armed with everything they need just as our military has they are both fighting Americas enemies
