sorry someone does not like you , they are playing the point game its not YAHOO but a specific person . you might wish to go back and see if you are repeatedly answering a specific persons questions . who apparently has targeted you and find a common link to who is in that question format .. best wishes good luck

This isn't confusing at all, though one of your other answers thinks you were reported for the question but your answer was reported.

The question: What rate of exchange would I get for 300,00?

So did you answer by saying what the exchange rate was? Let's take a look.

Your answer: "yes but in what currency Sterling Dollars or Yen"

So, you did NOT answer the question. You had no idea what the answer was and you got two points for posting a non-answer. If there are not enough details in the question for you to answer, skip it. There is a new question posted in here every four seconds so you can easily find a question that you DO have an answer for.

"I have just been deducted for daring to ask what currency" Yes, because YA is a question and answer forum. That means you either ask a question or answer a question. Asking a question back to the asker is NOT an answer. It could not be simpler than that.

No, since Yahoo did not report you, but another reporter who knows the rules better than you did, reported you, Yahoo has not gone mad. You agreed to follow the rules when you joined so why complain when those rules you agreed to are enforced?

From the rules you must not have read:

"your use of Yahoo Answers is subject to the Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines and the Yahoo Terms of Service."

    https://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guideline...

"Users must agree to abide by the community guidelines before using Yahoo Answers. Users also agree to the Yahoo Terms when registering for a Yahoo ID."

Why was this posted in Travel - Greece? Questions about violations go in the Yahoo Answers category.

Yahoo has not gone mad. It's that you failed to follow the Community Guidelines "ask clear questions".

To ask a question about exchange rate and not name the currencies, that's just dopey.
