$1,200 for toenail fungus treatment?

Has anyone here used a podiatrist? I saw one last week for a toenail fungus. He sold me all this stuff I have to use (for $300) and booked 4 laser sessions @ $300 each. I can't help thinking this is overkill and that he is just a slick salesman. What do people think?

(I will try to add a photo.)

I am a podiatrist in Australia, cost of 20min visit $50. Sell you Loceryl, $90 or Vicks' vapour rub $5

Lecture on cleanliness, and why you should clean inside your shoes and burn your old socks....included.

    Laser does not work.

Yes I think you have been caught , you can buy a toenail fungus treatment in your local pharmacy quite cheaply . Tea tree oil is a simple non expensive treatment .

Try using Vick's Vaporub. It is available in pharmacies . My physician recommended it for me. Certainly MUCH less expensive !!
