Religion and Honesty?

Do you think that some who give points only do so, not because they are good but because they are bias. If its religious fanatic, a racist , atheist . or whatever. Especially the Catholics , they don’t vote for the best answer but against the none religious. So in a sense are being dishonest in doing so. ?

Yes I do think some who give points do so with a very profound bias. There are a few regular posters who evidence this, and it has gotten so I can predict who will get best answer. You will never see a question asked by a Muslim given best answer to anything that doesn't praise Islam.

Don't throw all your hate on the Catholics...they don't have a chance because many of the other sects of Christianity don't even believe they're Christian.

When I give a TU its because the answer agrees with what I would say, when I give a TD if I don't already understand why I believe the answer is wrong I do some research first to make sure!

And if I come across religious questions that are trolls I give smart @ss answers !!!

    Im a sinner :D

I don't think you're being dishonest if you vote for an answer that you agree with. We all agree/disagree with certain things.

People tend to be passionate about religion and politics. So they will vote for the one they agree with. That isn't being dishonest.

One will find bias in all of us, how much one allows this to influence their intellect is a matter of choice. Not all who have bias allow it to taint their knowledge and understanding.

Goodness. People rate questions based on their biases instead of objective facts? Someone get me a sedative!
