Truth be told, what business is it of Obama's regarding what CEO's make?

absolutely no business at all.

CEO's get their money from the general economy, and from their workers. The Government (and thus in turn the president) has an interest in the general economy, and the protection of the general public (aka, the workers). Thus, insofar as a CEO's pay interferes with a healthy economy and the general public's interest, it is the business of the President, and thus in turn Obama.

I'd say its all our business if the company wants a subsidy, or some special consideration.

But its not Obama, its the government, they do want to know, there is a study for statistical reasons for anything you can think of, with salaries and perks and stock options used as a comparison to the lower end of the scale, that's how you keep track of the difference between the highest paid and lowest paid people in a corporation, or how much more the upper end keeps raising its salary while holding the line on the lower end. It's interesting, no matter where you are on the political spectrum, to think that the CEO of Walmart gets paid more per hour than his average worker makes in a year,

It's not just us either foreign countries do it too, which is we know that no other country pays its CEOs as extravagantly as we do.
