Mass unemployment question?

I received an email from ui stating

You have not earned enough wages to qualify for a new benefit claim.

It's very confusing as to what it means? Was discharged from my job and was told could collect unemployment. I was at the same job for 15 mo, worked full time and grossed about 620 wkly. can I get benefits? What do I do now? I called the telcert # and they said I had an active claim and to call back on 8/30 to file. No answers on website!

DISREGARD everything in the e-mail, and directly contact the Unemployment Compensation agency using contact information verified independently. I can't be certain, but there is a good chance the e-mail was NOT from who it claims to be from. This is a COMMON means used by ID thieves to attempt to get personal information.

Go in person to your local Ui office for further clarification.
