The Westboro church is exteme and not representative of what the Bible teaches.

I do not agree with the gay lifestyle, but I do not hate gays either. Someone's funeral is sacred and people shouldn't use it as a place to make a scene about their extreme beliefs.

I don't think that Robin Williams was a saint or anything. He was an entertainer. Yeah, he made people laugh. It wasn't an act of charity but a job that he was good at. He was just an ordinary human being, who unfortunately succumbed to depression. My heart goes out to his family.

No, I really don't take my cues from a fringe 'church' with about 20 members. But I do appreciate you giving a transparent example why many find atheists untrustworthy - such sweeping generalizations would probably boggle the minds of your average village idiot.

I wonder who will protest at the funerals of the WBC members. Oh, wait, they bury their dead in secret, don't they, like the cowardous vermin they are?

    Certainly not.

    Nanoo nanoo.

P.S. Westboro Baptist is a cult that the devil is using to make Christians look bad. They certainly aren't "speaking the truth in love" as the Bible says to do.

Protesting at someone's funeral... how unchristian.

I'm not even christian, and those people are the trolls of the united states masking themselves as Christians spreading hate wherever they go.

When they came to my town I held a counter protest. It was a blast.

Christians don't habitually agree with the WBC on most any matter at all.

I wonder if the evil people at that church know they are doing more to promote atheism than anything Richard Dawkins or Chris Hitchens (RIP) could ever hope for?

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 13But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Jesus Christ said to love your neighbor as yourself and to love your enemies. Their is a time for discussion of sin and repentance but a funeral is not the time or the place

I admit that I did not appreciate his acting...but that hardly seems sufficient cause to protest his being buried!
