My website address has /wordpress at the end after instaling WP?

It might be because I uploaded the WP folder into cPanel instead of JUST the contents of the folder. Is there an easier fix than deleting it and uploading/installing again?

There is a faster fix, but if your blog is new, I would re-install it again to avoid confusion in later time in the future if you need to trouble shoot it.

The easier fix: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress Please look at "Moving Directories On Your Existing Server" section.

You did the right thing in uploading files, but you will need to move all the files to the root of your domain to have a website address without "wordpress".

In the video started 8:33 where all the files inside "WordPress" folder are moved to the root.
