Please tell me step by step on how to obtain a license to run a daycare center.?
I own a large building and I want to open a 24 hour daycare center. I do not have license but the women that will work for me have license. One even has a degree in early childhood development. I have already registered to take whatever class or hours that I need. I already have license to run a resale shop in my town but now for childcare. Anyway, Community action has already inspected and approved the building.

Your first step is to find out who licenses things in your city and state. Google 'starting a day care in __your city name__" and see what comes up. As landlord you'd still have to meet requirements and safety issues, if this means you need a daycare license yourself, then you need to get one.
