What are your views on Benji's move to the Dragons?

News release this afternoon stated that Benji will play for the Dragons on a two and a half year contract. Interesting because an earlier release said that the Dragons were pulling out. Is this good for league? The Sharks, the proverbial bridesmaid..

    I'm not a league follower, although I am now living in League country. I thought he may have gone to the Sharks after watching the Footy Show last night.

    I don't like one bit how these sorts of things happen. The NRL need to change the whole way of trading, changing clubs and changing codes occur.

    I think they are starting to move in the right direction on holding on to marquee players, not letting them switch codes without a fight.

    I'm bias, but the AFL have it right. There is no talk of changing clubs until the season is over. Best for individual, club and game overall.

    They do deals on the quiet, I'm sure, but until the final siren has sounded, not a word spoken.

    This is not good for the NRL, why take him back? Who wins apart from Benji?

    With the way Souths, Storm, Manly, Roosters and Dogs are performing, I think he'll definitely struggle against big clubs.
