Why?
All those things cost a lot of money. A single bullet costs about a dollar.
Just give me a gun and i'll shot her and thus not only save the state thousands of dollars to keep her alive in prison but i will also serve some old fashion justice.

Without knowing the facts, that's a little harsh.
At face value, I tend to agree; but that's why we have a criminal justice system; and even if she just sucks as a person who didn't want this kid, the courts won't hand out that kind of punishment.
We don't do "cruel and unusual" anymore...even if sometimes it seems like a good idea.

They should have had access to safe, legal abortions and this wouldn't have happened.
