All writers: i need a short story!!?
Ok so i have to write this short stroy for english class that has to do with the attached picture and the caption. i must create a plot and my own characters and everything to go with this picture. i am such a bad brainstormer and i cannot come up with anything!! any ideas!! please help?? The title of this picture is "Uninvited Guests" and the caption is "His heart was pounding. He was sure he had seen the doorknob turn."

The person could be an aspiring figure skater and they can think back at their childhood when they were very shy and used to hid in the little room in the basement that they entered by that little door. In that room they had a whole lot of little imaginary friends that they played with and little toys. As they are growing up some of those imaginary friends begin to come back into their life and at first they seem to help them but then they begin to interfere with the activities such as the ice skating events that they are entering and people begin to notice they are talking to someone who is not there and that they are getting distracted.
