Soft cupcake topper?
So I'm going to be making some chocolate cupcakes filled with Bavarian cream and topped with a swirl of chocolate ganache, a pinch of coarse salt and rainbow sprinkles. BUT... I want a nice little finishing touch on top about the size of a jawbreaker but I want it to be SOFT, unlike a jawbreaker. A Maraschino cherry would be too big but about the right texture. I've thought about a mini marshmallow, a single Crunchberry (from Cap'n Crunch), an M&M but none of those really "does it for me." Any ideas?

A Whopper candy (also known as malted milk chocolate balls)
Sugar baby candies
Mini Reese's peanut butter cup (or Reese's pieces)
Mini Rolos
A single cookie crisp cereal (it'll look like a mini cookie on your cupcake!)
One square from a bar of chocolate, or a Toblerone triangle.
A Hershey's Kiss or Hug

Ingredients
140g/5oz butter, softened
280g/10oz icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
few drops food colouring
Beat the butter in a large bowl until soft. Add half of the icing sugar and beat until smooth.
Add the remaining icing sugar and one tablespoon of the milk and beat the mixture until creamy and smooth. Beat in the milk, if necessary, to loosen the mixture.
Stir in the food colouring until well combined.
