What do you think of the ACAs comments about moving the Big Bash?

The players association wants it moved to October from the December/January period. A plus for the broadcaster (Southern Cross TV) is that this would put it in the ratings period which could increase advertising revenue. The plus for other cricket in Australia is it gives players game time in the longer format for end of the season tours. As well, the football season has finished at that time and there is a void on television for live sport.

A Very good move. What it does is also allows players to focus more on the longer format of the game now more,it also looks like a good plan with more commercial benefits.Test Cricket is immensely benefited..

Seems reasonable as the teams missed their best players this year who were busy with the Ashes series.Moving it would leave them free.
