What can I eat without feeling pain?
Ok so I have the flu so I can't have any meat or dairy. Also, the flu is causing some sort of disease in my mouth which makes it extremely hard to swallow and almost impossible to chew anything. I'm starving but I can't think of anything to eat that won't cause me pain. Any ideas?

The best option might be to eat nothing and drink sugary drinks to keep yourself hydrated and maintain your energy levels until you are well, possibly with the addition of vitamin supplements if you can swallow them--especially vitamin C. While there is little evidence that vitamin C actually helps cure 'flu (as some people think) it is known that vitamin C levels are lowered by 'flu, making people with 'flu feel worse.
If you are hungry but are experiencing difficulty eating, try soup.

The best things i can think of would be:
liquidized soups
smoothies
dairy free ice cream
sugary drinks like lucozade
Jelly
Possibly a bowl of porridge if made with fine oats
Stewed Fruit-apples, pears etc- then mashed with a fork
Mashed Banana
Hard boiled eggs, mashed up with dairy free margarine/butter with salt and pepper
If these are too difficult, then sucking an ice lolly, hard boiled sweetie or lollipop might be the next best thing
