When you have a grilled cheese sandwich with fries... So you put the fries inside of the sandwich?

No, that sounds gross... This is the first time I've ever heard of it...

I would if I was still in college. They didn't sell grilled cheese on my campus back then. I don't often see grilled cheese with fries. But, I've put potato chips in a sandwich many times, unless it's in its own enclosed packaging so I can toss it in my bag for later. It's just more convenient. If something comes with a side and I have to walk around while eating, it just makes good sense to put it together.

If I have time to sit and eat, I'd probably keep the fries on the side so I can dip it on ketchup or something. Especially bland fries.

Nowadays they put onion rings on burgers all the time, so it makes even more sense to put flavorful French fries in sandwiches and burgers as well.

I don't eat it like that. I eat the grilled cheese and the fries separately, not eating the fries in the sandwich itself. The only other time I've heard of anything like that is the Rutgers "fat" sandwiches. Lol.

I have eaten it that way before! Grilled cheese and fries makes a great combination :)

No I do not. It is apparently something that is done in some places these days with burgers and other sandwiches. It does not appeal to me.
