Dear Yahoo.... please note?

I changed to YA Australia because it's still in the old format.

The new format is horrible. It's not user friendly.

I received a violation notice for saying I think there will be a mass exodus from YA due to the new format. I'll probably get another violation for daring to mention it here. Oh well!

Well said Lorraine. I think everyone in unanimous in hating the new look Yahoo answers.

I think Yahoo should put it to the community vote!

I also think if they keep it, a lot of members will disappear.

I just wonder why they sought to fix something that was not broke. Jmo.

PS;I am using the old formula at the moment but I do go onto the new one to try and work it out but get so annoyed and frustrated i soon change back the old formula again. Can we get up a petition?

I agree 100%! If anybody wants to use the normal, wonderful green site, NOT the purple ugly one, just go to Canada, Australia, India, ect.

I was going to post this myself! As an ex-top contributor and someone that goes on Yahoo every day, I would LOVE to see the purple site GONE. Maybe then I can live in my own country, America? ;)

I hate the new layout which was there for me to “enjoy” the “benefits” of for the first time today. I quickly bypassed it by using Canada to get to the old style. If this is going to be rolled out to all the countries that backdoor will be closed.

I am actually using the old old Format and i am not using the new lay out for Yahoo .So i don't have any of the above problems .

But for the people that do its very easy to go back to the old way .

I like to edit my answers and it's a PITA that when i do, the nicely paragraphed answer becomes one hulking mess that no one wants to read. Then you can't go back and fix it.

I also don't like that i can't seem to widen the answer box so i can see most (if not all) of the answer i typed out. I have to SCROLL to read through it and it annoys me.

Do we know if this is just a test run? Will they be fixing it?

About the only thing i like about it is the photo thing.

I hate it too Lorraine, there is no way to review the answers There is no spell check and my spelling is atrochious.

How can I look at an askers profile?

How do we report vulgar questions?

Perhaps I will eventually learn how to use this, or perhaps I will just give up.

This new format is horrible, so we all need to start calling yahoo and emailing them, I want the old look back.

I personally am thinking of leaving yahoo and finding a new home page.

This new crap really sucks and I hope every one complains about it.

AGREE!! I feel like I don't know what I'm doing with this new layout. Why change when the other was just fine?
