I have Firefox on my laptop but its Adobe Reader 11.5 keeps crashing. How can I fix this for good?
I have already tried the steps recommended by FireFox and none of them work.

Adobe Reader has nothing to do with Firefox and you don't need it. Firefox has it's own PDF viewer, all you need to do is install it - you don't need any other applications to view PDFs.
Uninstall Adobe reader, and go get the Firefox addon PDF.js (PDF Viewer 0.7.1) - install it by doing a search for add-ons right inside Firefox. Click Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons > type "pdf.js" to find it.
I have no idea why they don't supply Firefox with the add-on preinstalled, it would save so much heartache.

Uninstall the Adobe Reader and replace with SumatraPDF, or just uninstall the plugin for Reader that's in Firefox and then install SumatraPDF and it's Firefox plugin.

You'll be much happier with Firefox using SumatraPDF then Adobe Reader. It's a lighter, faster program.

Uninstall Reader. Reinstall.
