Will you help me with my homework?

Its not like telling me the answer. I really do not understand what to do with this question. If you can lead me in the right direction that would amazing! the question is about the short story, "The Most Dangerous Game". this is it:

One critic has remarks that "ironically, Zaroff's belief in his invincibility as a hunter weakens him and causes his defeat." Cite evidence from the story (the most dangerous game) to support or challenge this statement.

Please help a little bit?! THANK YOU!

I actually had to do this when i was in Middle School but here is what i wrote. For one, take in the psyche part, alone in a forest with a crazed mad man, his servant, and dogs chasing you. You are literally pushing him to the wall. Second, he becomes arrogant and sloppy. If he were smart, he wouldn't have made any noises at all, or he would've been searching profusely for him, instead what happens? He fricken leisurely strolls around looking for him in illogical places. Third, the fact that he thought "Oh i am such a great hunter, he would not dare try anything against me!" And just leaving him alone for a while. Or atleast during the part where he jumps into the ocean. Really just put down that he was arrogant and that it made him sloppy.
