Can you suggest some cool background color for my website?

Its a local entertainment site (jokes site). Also, you can suggest combination of post body color and background color that work best for you. Here's the website:

Please keep in mind that the color should not be too vivid so that it doesn't strain the eyes.

You can give color by color code or name.

    Use black with white, yellow, otherlightcolored text.
