A wordpress website question?

I have a wordpress website. The theme I am using now, displays only one featured post in front page or homepage. Now I would like to create a page that would contain most recent posts (few numbers of full posts; not excerpt). The page will be named 'recent post' while the homepage remaining default with one post. Please assist me if you can, thoroughly or partially. Thanks in advance.

    Create a Page Title Recent Posts (or Blog) dont put any content in it just a title

    Go to your Dashboard and Select Settings>Reading

    Under Front Page Display Select a Static homepage

    Select the Name of the page you are using for your homepage for your front page

    Select the newly created Recent Post page as your blog page
