Carry-on size question.?

I'm looking to bring a suit bag on board a flight I am taking. Does anyone know if I can carry a bag of this size as a carry-on?

Thanks, everyone.

It should be fine, most airlines allow garment bags as your carry on, some may allow it in addition to a regular carry on and some may consider it your carry on. Most airlines allow a 45 lineal inch (h+w+l) carry on size limit and most garment bags are well within that size. Check your airline's website.

it seems to me on my flights the size of carry on is flexible depending on the airline and the employees. There is an official size but I've seen that ignored many times by people bringing on small suitcases as carry on.

I'm assuming the 'suit-bag' is a long and flat protective sleeve of which protects your dress clothes.

If so, yes is the answer. You should just fold the bag onto itself. Suit-bags I know of allow this fold to happen. It should fit in the overhead compartment easily. Be aware of other luggage that might wrinkle your bag.
