unfair wills in england?

Can a person apparently left in a will a small amount view the will. Can it be challenged or would this cost a fortune. Should a solicitor get in touch with the grandchildren left with a small amount or should it be just acepted that this money sent by the main person in the will is correct.

Those receiving a named amount receive a cheque and copy of the will, no-one need ask for the copy of the will, it should be sent by the solicitor. Those who benefit from the residuary amount (the amount remaining after all specific amounts have been paid out and all bills paid) receive a statement showing exactly who has received what. Every financial detail is there to be studied.

If this is not handled by a solicitor those who do handle it (those asked to be trustees by the deceased) must still go to probate and do everything correctly so that there is never any doubt that everyone has received what they should have received.

If you feel there has been a "mistake," then you should hire a solicitor and attempt to correct it..
